- The 8th Annual
Big Bass Challenge will be held at Cedar Bluff on July 19th.
Hourly prizes will be given out for big bass and overall big
bass for the day. Entry forms can be downloaded from our web site. You can reach someone at 625-3840

2008 - Boaters needed for youth event
We are looking
for boaters for our 3rd Annual C.A.S.T. event. Please forward
on to others you think might be interested in helping. This year
we are opening up to McConnell children who have a parent or
both serving abroad. We are needing 50 boats and need your help
to make the event a great success again this year. All major
media will be invited again this year. As it has always been,
the boaters/fisherman make this event a success.
I sincerely hope you can help a child "Catch a Special Thrill"!!

2008 - Club forming - A
small group of Kansas anglers,who are members of North American
Fishing Club,are trying to find enough interest to start a local
state chapter. If you could help us by putting something on your
site we would appreciate it. By joining NAFC members get a monthly
magazine but more importantly you get access to the website and
online forums. You can hook up with anglers from accross the
nation. New members can join for a risk free trial at fishingclub.com Once registered they should log
on to the kansas forum and let us know they are there.

2008 - I have several
Abu Garcia bait cast reels they range from 5000, 5500C, 5500cl3,
5600CL3, 6000, 6500 and 6600. All are right handed. Some are
used and some are New. The price range is from 35.00 for a good
used 5000 on up to 55.00 for a new 6600. If interested can supply
pictures for particular reel. If you are interested, customer

50's or 60's vintage "Avalon"
boat - It's a 'fixer-upper'. The fiberglass
is in fair condition, the motor has not been started since we
took possession. It has a vintage "Johnson - 50" motor. The
trailer on the other hand is fairly new, and is probably worth
more than the boat. I'd like to sell the boat and trailer for $200.00,
but feel free to make a reasonable offer.
