New product lets anglers convert
hand auger to power auger
Mike Cook
Four Lake Guides
There is a new product out that some of you ice
fishermen just have to have. I was lucky enough to try one when
we had ice on Cheney that one Saturday the first part of December.
I had my most enjoyable ice trip ever, even though the fishing
was tough. OK, OK enough with the suspence. The product is called
the easy auger and you can only get it from Zeiner's Angler Supply.
I was skeptic at first to tell you the truth. But this product
is the coolest thing since the carolina rig. It is an adapter
that connects your hand auger to your cordless drill motor. I
drilled 20 holes through 4 inches of ice and zipped right through
it like it was butter. I noticed no drain in my drill motor battery
even after the last hole. Read

lakes signed on immediately, enabling them to eliminate fees
formerly charged for angler access. The result was that fees

Largemouth Bass
Virus (LMBV) Fact Sheet
1. What is Largemouth Bass
Virus?
It is one of more than 100 naturally occurring viruses that affect
fish but not warm-blooded animals. Origin is unknown, but it
is related to a virus found in frogs and other amphibians and
nearly identical to a virus isolated in fish imported to the
U.S. for the aquarium trade. Although the virus is carried by
other fish species, to date, it has produced disease only in
largemouth bass. Scientists do not know how the virus is transmitted
or how it is activated into disease. In addition, they know of
no cure or preventative, as is commonly the case with viruses.
