Here’s the newest bait to hit the shelf in our store. We were skeptical at first. After having customers buy it and then coming back for more, we’re thinking the folks at Catnip may be on to something good.

Unlike all of our other baits, there is no strong smell to Catnip. That’s a plus for anglers that want to catch fish but not be reminded of the bait for the next several days every time they get their fingers close to their nose.

Grandpa Gary’s story as told by the folks at Catnip

Here is how we decided to start producing our bait.

This wild man here is our dad. Getting ready for a fishing trip a couple years ago he told us he was bringing the bait and not to buy any.

Well we already had dip bait, stink bait, livers, punch bait, worms, minnows and goldfish. We all went to our favorite honey hole and all started using our own favorite baits.

Grandpa was catching fish while the rest of us were changing up our concoctions and rebaiting, trying to gain the competitive edge on each other. Eventually we were all grabbing wads of this dough that smelled like actual food out of grandpa's bread bag.

So the next fishing trip we just had grandpa Gary make one giant ball of bait and we have swore by it ever since then.

Because it is made with ingredients that don’t make you smell like poo all day and in order to make it effective and efficient, you will notice the original color has changed to a nice orange color.
