Wood Carvings
by Gary Cooper of Wichita, Kansas
Hand carved
wooden bluegill mounted and framed
This handcarved
11-inch wooden mounted bluebill is carved by folk art carver
Gary Cooper. The carving and attention to detail is in the lodge
art style with a rusted metal hanging chain. The 11" fish
is also framed. The bluegill has metal fins like the ones of
years ago did. Sometimes it got a little wild in those lodges
and the carvers didn't want the fins to break in case there was
a scuffle a little too close to his work of art.
