Step 1 - Material Needed
Step 2 - Clean the plastic worm with rubbing alcohol to remove all dirt and oil. Glue down on a flat plate of foam board or formica(Use PRO'S SOFT-BAIT GLUE).
Step 3 - For a more professional mold, use pine wood with nail gun to make a form. This will make your mold stronger and prevent it from warping. Be sure to seal the bottom of the box to the foam board or formica with masking tape on the outside of the box. You can use square tupperware or small aluminum cooking pan to keep from making a form but usually takes more RTV material.
Step 4 - Weigh and mix your RTV Silicone to copy your master using a 10-1 ratio mix resin to hardener.
Step 5 - After mixing resin and hardener thoroughly, pour over your master slow as possible to keep from getting air pockets in your mold. Two hours pot life (working time)
Step 6 - Let it sit for 24 hours to set up.
