Dec. 15, 2001 - Hillsdale
- Fished Hillsdale lake last Saturday (15-Dec-01) with my Dad
for crappie. The water temperature was 43 degrees F. We fished
an area out of the strong Southeast wind near the boat ramp by
the Little Bull bridge. There were fish showing up on the locator
throughout the water column, but the only Nov. 7, 2001 - Kingman County State Lake - Today was a beautiful day to fish. Not too much wind. I caught a couple of chunky 16 inch fish and a few smaller than that. One northern pike. The lake is super low. I am not a regular there, but it is down at least two feet from the last time I was there. The deepest water I found in the lake was about 4.5 feet. The water is very clear. If anybody knows which rock jettie is the best for channel cat, please post and let me know. G. Croomes Nov. 5, 2001 - Wilson - Fished Wilson this weekend in the lucas park area and caught over 30 stripers between 4 and 10 lbs. using live shad fished between 32 and 36 feet. - November 1,2, 2001 Lake Wilson: The stripers are starting to
school for their pre-winter feeding. Fished both days, using
live bait over the road Oct. 30, 2001 - Wilson - October 30, 2001 Fished Lake Wilson, but had to fish from the bank as the wind was to strong for safe boating.
